Service 02 / Renewal

Office refurbishment that works around you.

Improve the layout, renew the finishes and bring building services up to date. We plan the work around the team using the space.

Illustrative concept

Make the existing space work harder.

A workplace can fall behind the business using it. Meeting areas may be in the wrong place, lighting may feel tired or the layout may no longer suit the team.

We refurbish offices across the UK, from interior refreshes to more involved alterations. The starting point is what can be retained and which changes will improve the working environment.

When staff remain in the building, deliveries, noise, dust and access need a clear plan. We set out the work areas and sequence with the building team before activity starts.

The scope, brought together

What we deliver.

Targeted improvements to the rooms, finishes and systems already in place.

Layout improvements

Partitions, meeting areas and circulation adapted to current business needs.

Lighting and services

Electrical and mechanical upgrades linked to the new layout and existing systems.

Surfaces and finishes

Flooring, decoration and joinery renewed where they make a visible and useful difference.

End-of-lease works

Reinstatement, repairs and making good against the landlord and surveyor’s schedule.

The detail that matters

Keep the occupied areas working.

We identify which areas can be released, when disruptive tasks can happen and how staff will move around the works. Temporary separation and clear communication make the sequence understandable to everyone using the office.

For dilapidations or end-of-lease work, your lease and surveyor establish the obligations. We turn the resulting schedule into a construction programme with a clear scope.

How the work moves forward

Renew the office in a planned sequence.

Retain what works, improve what matters and keep the team informed.

  1. Identify the changes

A review of the office establishes the priorities, existing conditions and areas to retain.

  2. Phase the work

Work zones and disruptive activities are arranged around access and business requirements.

  3. Complete each area

The team delivers the scope, checks the details and brings finished areas back into use.

Before you begin

Your questions, answered.

What is the difference between refurbishment and fit out?

Refurbishment improves an existing space, often retaining some layout or services. Fit out prepares a space for a particular occupier or use. The actual scope matters more than the label.

Do you carry out dilapidations work?

Yes. We deliver reinstatement, repairs and making good against an agreed schedule. Your surveyor or legal adviser establishes the lease obligations before the work is scoped.

Can work take place in evenings or at weekends?

Yes, where the building permits it. Working hours, access, supervision and any additional costs are set out in the programme.

Can we refurbish one part of the office first?

Yes. A phased refurbishment can release one area at a time. We check shared services and access before setting the sequence.
